Organizers

Mark Denker: I am a graduate student studying at the University of Kansas under Jeremy Martin. I work in algebraic combinatorics. My current research focus is combinatorial Hopf structures. I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree from Oklahoma State University.  You can find more information on my website.

Aditya Khanna: I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech under the supervision of Nick Loehr. I am interested in a variety of enumerative and algebraic combinatorial problems relating to symmetric functions, plethysms and partitions. I obtained my BS-MS degree from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. To know more about my research and outreach activities, check out my website. I also have a (semi-regular) blog.

Anastasia Nathanson: I’m a graduate student at University of Minnesota, working with Vic Reiner. I generally like combinatorial commutative algebra and algebraic combinatorics. Currently, I'm most interested in Chow rings of matroids and questions of equivariance. Before coming to Minnesota, I did my Bachelors and Masters degrees at San Francisco State University. You can see more about my interests and activities on my website.

Prairie Wentworth-Nice: I am a graduate student at Cornell University. My advisor is Ed Swartz and my work focuses on polymatroids and coding theory. Before grad school, I earned my BA in math and physics from Swarthmore College. For more information on my research, teaching, and outreach activities, check out my website!
