Set for release on the 13/08/21 is, BIB, which stands for 'Boy, I'm Beat' which just means, I'm tired. Artwork done by Malcolm Nwobu.
BIB is one of my most, self-made, and cultivated tracks. It has a very heavy influence from Jaden, more specifically from his Erys album. The artwork was done by @MalcoPoloArt on Instagram.
The production has so much going on, with backing vocals, reversed chords, percussion (keys), and adlibs. There is so much happening, that you almost don't hear or realize what the pitched-up hook is saying. 'Happiness is faded' is the feeling of lost hope. The energetic drum patterns and hard-hitting bass underneath the hook juxtapose the energy the lyrics are trying to bring. This is the type of track you can dance to, vibe to, and smile to even with a very depressing hook.
This track was made in a very unorthodox way, The drums came first, as well as the second verse. The first verse and hook came last after I came up with a chord progression. The hook was only going to be a vocal effect, but I got attached and kept it. The pitch it was at made so much sense with the sound I was going for. An almost fun playful sound. I made this track in two nights, it just flowed. I had a huge smile on my face making it too.
This track has dynamics, from the singing to the rapping, to the third voice in the first verse. This song will be my best released track.
