Costa Rican born pianist Daryl Rojas has performed internationally as a recitalist, chamber musician and as a soloist with orchestras in the USA, Central and South America, and Europe. In Lithuania in 2022 he was part of the Klaipeda Piano Masters, the largest piano festival in the Baltic Sea, and last March was invited to be part of a by invitation only group of pianists at the Feuerwerk Klavier Akademie in Einbeck, Germany. Besides his performing career, Daryl is a passionate piano pedagogue and maintains his own private studio in East Memphis. He has presented at the MTNA, NCKP and the state TMTA conferences. Prior to his election as the GMMTA president, he was the president of the University of Memphis Collegiate Chapter and has served as the personnel manager of the Prizm Ensemble. Daryl has studied in Germany, Costa Rica, Colombia and the US. He plans to complete his Doctorate in piano performance at the University of Memphis in 2023. www.darylrojas.com
