Literacy-oriented Game Lesson Plan Design
This course is designed to enhance students' interest in and observation of various topics, enabling them to understand current educational trends and the needs of the teaching field, and proactively identify topics for integration into learning activities. Through in-depth classroom discussions and the use of diverse teaching media and learning technologies, students will cultivate empathy and critical thinking, integrate topics into subject-specific teaching activities, plan literacy-oriented content, integrate cross-disciplinary knowledge, and design and implement technology-integrated game lesson plans to effectively motivate students, support learning activities, and evaluate learning outcomes. The course will also help students enhance and broaden their cross-disciplinary literacy. Students will be encouraged to continue deepening their knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to various issues, even after acquiring the ability to integrate topics into teaching and game lesson plan design.

Through PBL-based learning with two major themes this semester, students engaged in the processes of theme curriculum design, problem design, curriculum guidance, group discussions, real-world puzzle design, puzzle trial teaching, result presentation, and final reflection. As a result, students were able to apply course content to their semester activity designs and create literacy-oriented game content for innovative teaching.
