The conflict between the People's Republic of China and Taiwan case study provides numerous ways in which we can make links between the contemporary world and the Power, Sovereignty and International Relations unit of the course. In addition, the China-Taiwan provides an interesting way of evaluating the relative strengths of the theories of Structural Realism and Liberalism.
