Global Assessment

Global Competence Matrices from Edsteps in partnership with the Asia Society

This is a great tool for teachers, administrators and stakeholders to use to gauge global education in our individual classrooms, schools and district. It will help you understand your strengths and offer opportunities for growth in developing global education competencies.

These seven global competence matrices include one main matrix and six content-area matrices. Their purpose is to help both us and our students understand Global Competence and how to apply it. The six content-area matrices include arts, ELA, math, science, social studies and world languages.

WorldSavvy is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting middle and high school educators with free resources to integrate teaching and learning global competence into the classroom. The rubric below can be adapted for classroom projects. Definitely a site worth exploring!
