Edward and Liana Villamin married in 2015, committed to raising a God-fearing family. As teens working part-time in a local restaurant, they discovered their common devotion to Mary and praying the rosary. They joined the Family Rosary Crusade Unit of Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro Parish and established the FRC Youth group in 2007. Their consistent piety, charity, and compassion made them good role models for the youth and for their own children---Elisha (5) and Elijah (3), who learned to make the sign of the cross and recite the Hail Mary as soon as they could speak.
In September 2021, the couple tested positive for COVID. While still recovering in quarantine, Liana suffered the devastating loss of her Mama, Lita, who succumbed to complications of a lingering illness. The tragedies and difficulties of life strengthened the bond of love in Edward and Liana’s family. They find support and comfort in one another in imitation of the Holy Family.
