On Saturday, February 10, Family Rosary hosted “The Finest Wine” Valentine’s Date Night. This inspiring evening began with a Vigil Mass & Renewal of Vows at St. Joseph Chapel, where Father Fred Jenga, C.S.C., led the couples in renewing their love and fidelity for their spouse. After a beautiful Mass, the remainder of the Date Night evening was enjoyed at the Museum of Family Prayer, where 58 couples were delighted to come together to enjoy good food, drink, and fellowship with couples from across the greater Boston area.
At the heart of the Date Night, couples heard an engaging and lively talk on the Wedding Feast at Cana, offered by Craig Dyke and Amy Dyke, entitled, 'The Finest Wine.' After honoring two lovely guest couples married for nearly six decades, and hearing the great wisdom passed along from them to the couples at large, all married couples in attendance then prayed a decade of the Rosary together, focusing on the grace and power that Jesus Christ brings into marriage.
Father Fred Jenga, C.S.C., closed the evening with a final blessing and prayer over the couples, reminding them to keep prayer at the heart of their marriage and family life as he proclaimed Father Patrick Peyton’s message: “The family that prays together stays together.” Couples left The Father Peyton Center with a renewed spirit of joy and strength within their marriage, eager for their love for Jesus and one another to overflow into their family life.
Family Rosary is thrilled to build upon this great evening of faith and fellowship with a plan to continue offering more frequent marriage and family enrichment events.
Father Pinto Paul, C.S.C., joins guests as they share stories and enjoy fellowship at Valentine’s Date Night.
