A series of workshops was launched at the Peyton Institute for Families in January 2024. The first workshop was on ‘Psychospiritual Integration for Couples’ and was held on January 21, 2024. The Second workshop on ‘Preparation for Partnership’ was designed for young adults preparing themselves for a committed relationship in marriage and was held on February 4, 2024. The third workshop, Emotionally Intelligent Parenting, was held on February 25. Rev. Dr. M.C. Abraham was the main resource person for the workshops. The final workshop in the series, ‘The Art and Science of Listening’ will be held on March 10, 2024, and is designed to assist young parents to develop skills of listening to their children of various ages.

The 2024 version of Healing the Inner Child was held at the Institute from February 12 to 16. Father Sundar Wilson OFM Cap. from Anugraha Institute of Counseling and Research at Dindigul was the resource person.

The new Certificate Course on Basic Counseling Skills began on the 20th of January 2024. The course involves classes on 12 Saturdays, individual counseling sessions, practical sessions, etc. The program introduces the participants to the basic theories and skills that will equip them to listen to individuals and couples empathically and when required to guide them towards professional therapy.
