While celebrating Valentine’s Day, February 2022, organized by HCFM, a couple (Mr. and Mrs. Dhabangi) testified about the magic that lies in small ordinary things such as creating time for one’s partner. Mrs. Dhabangi testified that their marriage, which was not working normally, was rejuvenated when her husband one day helped her when she was overwhelmed with work and decided put aside other things and joined her in cleaning the dishes.
Since then the conversation changed and their relationship went to another level. Let’s not wait to surprise our spouses with big surprises. That may take long to happen. Let’s however, turn very ordinary situations by attaching the greatest value-Love to every ordinary act that we do to our family members.
Mother Teresa challenges us not to struggle to do great things, but rather to strive to do small ordinary things with extraordinary love. She challenges us not to fight to register great achievements or successes in what we do. She instead urges us to be faithful saying that true success lies in being faithful in our mission or calling and doing whatever little act we do with great love.
