This page is dedicated to nominating peers for their great work in the field - by honoring them with a recognition award or nominating them to serve on the GLC-SOPHE executive board. Award Nomination Form-Nominations are due by July 31st of each year.
Distinguished Service Award (July of each year) Presented to a GLC-SOPHE member who has contributed significantly to accomplishing the goals of SOPHE and/or has demonstrated distinctive commitment to the profession through consistent and high-quality health education activities.
Honor Award (July of each year) Presented to an individual or organization that has contributed significantly to the health education or health promotion field and has been instrumental in the advancement of the profession.
President's Award (July of each year) Presented to the immediate past president of GLC-SOPHE in recognition of their service to our organization and the health education field.
Student Award (July of each year) Presented to an outstanding student who has excelled in the health education curriculum.
Young Professional Award (July of each year) Presented to a GLC-SOPHE member who has excelled in the health education field during his or her first five years of professional experience.
