Membership Tiers
Student
$15
Student membership is currently $15 and is open to students who are enrolled in a health education program. Members qualify for student rates for up to one year after graduation.
Why Join?
Student membership provides networking, professional development, job, and volunteer opportunities, including eligibility for awards and executive board positions, along with participation in conferences and webinars
Individual
$50
A health educator who meets one or more of the following is eligible for Great Lakes Chapter SOPHE membership.
Holds a graduate or undergraduate degree from a formal health education program
Functions or is employed in a health education capacity
Is a faculty member of a health education program
Organizational
$500
With this membership, organizations can put up to 5 employees on one discounted membership. The organization will be listed in our membership directory, receive a free vendor table at our annual conference, and be listed in conference materials.
All 5 employees will be on the GLC-SOPHE listserv to receive our communications, get free CHES credits at our events, and receive free registration at our annual conference.
5 Year Individual

Emeritus Fellow membership shall be open to a Fellow in good standing who, upon retirement, submits a written request for a change of status.
Membership Dues Structure
GLC-SOPHE membership runs from January 1 through December 31.
Membership dues paid before October 1 will be applied to the current year. Dues received after October 1 will have their membership begin the following January.
Please allow two weeks for GLC SOPHE to process your membership application. Your canceled check or PayPal confirmation will be your receipt.
NOTE: As of January 1, 2016, GLC-SOPHE will no longer be processing National SOPHE membership applications. This decision was made in order to expedite and ensure better accuracy with national memberships for our local members. To purchase National SOPHE memberships, please visit www.sophe.org.
