Sears Silvertone Model 4686 art Deco Console Radio

The restoration of a Sears Silvertone model 4686 console radio is shown here, that my wife and I gave to friends we know as a wedding gift.

This radio is a beautiful art deco piece and it sounds great to have it working again. 

It is capable of tuning in the AM broadcast band and shortwave from 1.8-18 MHz.  This radio features a large speaker with a huge baffle (for bass response I would guess).  It has a magic eye tuning indicator and a rotary dial-like tuning knob where you can tune in your favorite presets like a rotary telephone.
