Through Wall Radar Imaging
Through Wall Radar Imaging
I have spent many years working on through wall radar imaging, creating the fastest (at 10 Hz frame rate) and one of the highest resolution systems which also operates at a stand-off distance.
Given the large wavelengths required to penetrate concrete walls and other building materials, the best way to acheive useful resolution is to use a large collecting aperture, either with a phased array or synthetically. Anything short of a large aperture will result in poor performance or a great deal of guessing.
Below you will find all of these through-wall imaging research threads spanning real-time MIMO arrays, linear rail SAR, and a quasi-optical approach time of flight microwave camera.
