All-Ukrainian charitable organization that brings together individuals and entities engaged in the development and implementation of technologies GIS for the public interest and certain categories of citizens and does not profit from these activities.

Most of the organization members develop the discipline of GIS technologies by teaching, researching or working in the field of GIS, while others are involved in related business and political areas. The main purposes of this network of professionals are motivate for GIS technologies, develop the scientific discipline and promote the impact of GIS technologieson economy, business and society. Also to offer career support by the means of networking.

The other GISA-UA ideas are: make a conditions, development support, etc. for GIS technologiesdevelopment on Ukrainian territory; growing of knowledge in GIS technologiesfield; GIS technologiesimplantation in all branch of economy on Ukrainian territory; development of GIS technologieseducation and GIS technologiesscience; helps to the integration of Ukraine in European and World economics.

GISA-UA:
