Think Like a Programmer is a Junior Girl Scouts Troop curriculum designed by Dr. Meize Guo from the Doceo Center at the University of Idaho. This curriculum is designed as a PBL experience to meet the CSTA K-12 CS standards: 1B for Grades 3-5/Age 8-11. The driving question of this journey is: How can we develop games and websites to inspire the local community to know more about computer science? This curriculum has six parts, including 10 hours of instruction and activities in the Doceo Center and possible work time after the instruction of the day. All activities will be conducted in the Doceo Center (ED 341), University of Idaho. The instructor and volunteers, who work with the students directly, will be requested to complete the CITI training and background check.Â
