Sera is a Research Assistant working on making stroke rehabilitation accessible for stroke patients and provide objective assessment tool for clinicians using pose estimation models to detect arm kinematics on stroke survivors using smartphone cameras, supervised by Dr Ulrike Hammerbeck, Dr Letizia Gionfrida and Dr Irene Di Giulio at the Centre for Human and Applied Physiological Sciences. Her research interests span in stroke rehabilitation, computer vision and neurotechnology. She holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering (Neurotechnology) degree from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Medical Sciences and Engineering degree from University College London (UCL).
