We all know that schools are increasingly being asked to do more with less, and our help is needed more than ever to fill in the gaps!

Our PTG needs to raise thousands of dollars every year with YOUR help and participation in various fundraisers, BoxTops collections, store rewards programs, etc., in order to provide money for these fantastic events and activities (and more!) at Gillette:

Provided over a dozen volunteers for Scholastic Book Fair, Candy Weighing for the Troops, and Student Council 7th Grade Party ticket sales.
Provided gift cards from Five Below & Skyzone BOGO passes for students donating candy for the troops.
Coordinated and hosted a BoxTops party for Mrs. Harris’s 5th grade homeroom.
Facebook shout-out for November 1 School Administrator Appreciation Day for Principal Leahey & VP Cordone.
Planned our annual December Hot Chocolate Bar for Gillette teachers & staff.

Final tally for October Color Run fundraiser came in at $4,000 with nearly 200 runners - thank you for your support!
Added Dunkin Donuts as another GRMS PTG community sponsor!
Final tally for Gillette spiritwear sales was over $3000 - thank you for your support and school spirit!

We strive to provide fun and unique and convenient experiences and fundraisers for your families!

All families have unique preferences and needs, and so we know that not every family here at Gillette will participate in all fundraisers, which is why we offer a variety of different fundraisers every year. For most of our fundraisers and events, we can accept donations and payments with all major credit cards through Paypal (you don't have to have a Paypal account!).

We love these "A-Thon" fundraisers for getting kids involved in activities that are fun, healthy, AND that give back to their school!
In 2018 we hosted Gillette's first ever Color-a-Thon Fun Run to raise funds for our great PTG programs benefitting our students, families and teachers.
In 2016-17 our "Rock the Walk" Walk-a-Thon paid for 75% of the outdoor computerized Fitness Center (the last 25% was generously sponsored by Aspen Fitness).

Every couple of years we offer a product fundraiser because some families like to purchase for its convenience for them and like knowing that most proceeds go back to benefit their students at Gillette. In past years we've offered Yankee Candles, safety & emergency kits, local area shopping discount cards and Little Caesars pizza & meal kits.

Some families like to participate in after-school programs that benefit their child AND the PTG at the same time - Shades of Orange art classes, karate classes, Mr. Haas' basketball classes, etc. For more information about these programs, please click here.

Some parents & kids love to participate in our community/business parter fundraisers, like our annual Gillette Night with the Syracuse Crunch hockey team, partnerships with Barnes & Noble and Abbott Farms, or restaurant fundraisers at The Meadows, Sweet Frog, Panera Bread, and more.

Please know that we realize you're busy and maybe can't help as much as you'd like or perhaps funds are tight for your family right now - we totally understand! We have several ongoing (aka "passive) fundraising campaigns with programs like Box Tops and Amazon Smile that help out our PTG by doing things you do anyway - no extra time or cost for you, and lots of benefits for your Gillette student!
