Battle of the Jaguars/Color Run

WHAT IS THE BATTLE OF THE JAGUARS? A school-wide fundraiser where students will get pledges and run/walk at the school. Wear a white shirt and have fun getting covered in colored chalk around the course! Let's have a battle of our Jaguars and see which grade will be the winners of the most money raised! Prize to the top grade level!

Many other prizes can be earned at different fundraising levels for each student.


Previously Gillette Road has done several fundraisers per year, which included selling items. We have found that one major fundraiser with almost 100% profit is more beneficial to Gillette Road and its families. If we’re able to raise our fundraising goal of $10,000 for the year, we won’t need to ask for families to raise any more money for the 2021-2022 school year! We could still offer a couple of smaller fundraisers that are completely optional and have been well received in the past few years!

This fundraiser promotes healthy activity, family fun and community spirit, and will enable our Parent-Teacher Group to fund dozens of creative & educational opportunities for Gillette students, families, teachers and staff - please click here to learn about all the great things that the Gillette PTG supports!

How It Works

Students collect donations from family, friends and neighbors to go to Gillette Road Middle School for our Parent-Teacher Group to fund dozens of creative and educational opportunities and events for our school's students, teachers and other building staff.

Students can collect donations by cash, checks (made out to Gillette Road PTG) or online donations via credit card or paypal!

Students should turn in their Pledge Form and Donations by Tuesday, October 19th at the Main Office. Please turn in your Pledge Form even if all donations were done online; alternatively, you can email the form to gilletterdptg@gmail.com. Feel free to collect after that date but no additional prizes will be awarded.

Target Deadline Dates

The deadline to be eligible for prizes and upgrades is Tuesday, October 19th FOR ONLINE REGISTRATIONS & DONATIONS!

The Walkathon will take place at Gillette Road Middle School on Saturday, October 23rd. Times will be between 8am and 10am, broken up by grade level.

Participation Prizes

$10 - Two color packets to make your walk/run more fun!

$25 - One hackie sac

$50 - One "we're #1" finger

$75 - One mini squeeze ball

$100 - One GRMS drawstring bag

$150 - One fidget spinner

$200 - Ear buds with case

$250 - One pop socket

Please know that the money raised will help the Gillette Road PTG provide funds for clubs support, achievement rewards for our students, appreciation events for our teachers, and more! Thank you for your support!
