1973 Winter Rescue (code 7309-4)
The Adventure Team had a couple of Action Outfits with the word RESCUE in it's title.
Winter Rescue is a difficult carded Action Outfit set to find in the box since is was only available in 1973.
It was replaced in the line by Photo Recon, also code 7309-4.
The set includes:
- White hooded parka jumpsuit with 'fur' lining on the hood;
- White vinyl belt with silver buckle; and a
- White first aid belt pouch with a red cross decal.
The first aid kit pouch is a white version of the brown cartridge box originally found with the 1966 Japanese Imperial Soldier and later used in the 1971 Adventure Team, Jungle Survival set.

Someone once commented that they did not know what winter terrain G.I. jOE would be in that would necessitate wearing this super-thin snowsuit. They guessed that the nice fur lined hood would make up all the difference. Hasbro also forgot to give G.I. jOE a pair of mitts. Finally, whoever he is going to rescue better not have any big problems, because all G.I. jOE brought with him was a white band aid case. :)
