The library offers regular programming for kids of all ages (and the young at heart). We embrace the opportunity to inspire children to love the written word through active play and active reading.
For families with pre-school children. Our classic children’s program allows you to spend quality time with your child in a fun, kid-centered learning environment. Free to the community, storytime encourages fine motor skills, listening skills, early-reading skills, socialization, and creativity through story readings, activities, and crafts.
For all ages. Library members who visit the library on their birthday get a free book!
For children 18 months-17 years old. Join us every summer for reading, fun, and prizes!
For teens 13-17. Teens serve alongside their peers and help host our entire summer-reading program. They spend Monday-Thursday at the library the entire month of June. The application opens in March, and the internship is competitive since only a few slots are available.
