Having been educated in a close-knit seminar setting, I quickly developed skills in lesson planning and facilitation. I regularly gathered ideas for group work, presentations, seminar questions and discussion topics in preparation for the following class. These acquired skills helped me to be well-equipped for my Track I Internship as an After School Program Leader through the Sonoma County YMCA, in which I assisted in preparing relevant lessons, fun activities, and instruction for a 2nd/3rd grade class.
