As a Track I Liberal Studies major with minors in Criminal Justice and Political Science, I have developed a deep passion for helping others and advocating for mental health. My college education highlighted heavy topics such as poverty, food insecurity, trauma, chronic pain and beyond; topics which I had never discussed in an educational setting beforehand. This literary diversity granted me the transformation from a bright-eyed future elementary teacher into a resilient and restless graduate determined to de-stigmatize mental health. Following, I have organized a variety of writings, books, acknowledgments and other notable moments of my time in Hutchins, all of which accentuate my growth through the years.
