Correction videos from various tests that we take through out the year will be listed below. You must do the corrections as one of the criteria to qualify for re-assessment.
In order to qualify for a reassessment, print the form out and fill in the fields. You must have the homework (all problems) completed for the appropriate sections prior to the original test. You can find this information under the appropriate course on my website. In addition, the WHOLE review for the test must be completed in full. Allow at least 24 hours for me to confirm that you, in fact, qualify for reassessment.
Steps to filling out the Reassessment Form:
PRINT the FORM -->Reassessment Application: Excel Version (open with Microsoft Office) or Acrobat Version
1. Fill in the question number you did not get full credit for on the test.
2. Write down which Topic/TEKS/Section the problem was from (look on your test by the number or the instructions for the problem).
3. Did you do the ALL the appropriate homework for that section/topic/TEKS before the original test (i.e. you studied and prepared).
--> Yes --> Ensure Mr. Labelle has recorded it.
--> No --> Talk to Mr. Labelle since you have put off learning (procrastinated) too long!
4. Correct the problem you got wrong. Sometimes the correction is an explanation and sometimes it involves showing the correct work to get the correct solution. (I usually post video solutions on my website so you can see how I did it.)
5. Fill in the Personal Reflection column. Why did I not get full credit? What would involve a complete and accurate answer? What was my thought process when I originally attempted this question? How should I approach similar questions in the future? (To me, this is the most important part of the process. Many students try to skip this step.)
6. Repeat process until ALL problems that you did not get full credit for are corrected.
7. Study for the reassessment.
