Welcome in the name of our Lord to the Brazil Global Harvest Summit!
Please review the following information to help you travel smoothly from the airport to your hotel. All times below are local Brazil time.
[SPECIAL NOTE] Arriving early? As consistently announced, airport transfers will be available on 4th of November only. The Brazilian host church cannot provide rides on other days. If you arrive early, please stay at a nearby airport hotel and return to the airport on 4 November, when a shuttle will run every two hours. Airport Hotel Options are listed below (#6,7,8).
Your arrival airport is São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). São José dos Campos, where the summit will take place, is approximately 80 km from the airport.
Upon arrival, connect to GRU WIFI for free internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available in two sessions of two hours each, for a total of four hours.
Most international participants will arrive at Terminal 3. However, terminals vary by flight, so please check your arrival terminal.
After landing, proceed in this order:
Immigration → Baggage Claim → Customs → Arrivals Hall
If you have been issued an eVisa, you must bring a printed copy. Keep it with your passport so you can present it when boarding your flight to Brazil and upon arrival.
Once you have completed the arrival procedures and entered the public arrivals hall, volunteers from Igreja da Cidade will be waiting to welcome you with a BSH sign.
Please give the volunteer your name and follow their instructions for boarding the bus.
If you cannot find a volunteer or the BSH sign, please come to the Starbucks on the right-hand side of the Terminal 3 arrivals hall. This is the BSH meeting point.
If you have difficulty finding it, send a WhatsApp message to the operations team using the contact details below.
If you arrive at Terminal 2, complete immigration and baggage collection before making your way to the Terminal 3 meeting point.
The transfer options described in the original instructions are as follows:
By tram: Take an escalator or elevator to the 3rd floor and use the shuttle tram toward Terminal 3.
On foot: From the 2nd floor, follow the connecting walkway toward Terminal 3. The walk takes approximately 10 minutes.
The terminals are not far apart, so walking is also an option. However, the floor numbers and tram boarding location will be confirmed by the on-site team before the final instructions are issued. At the airport, follow the Terminal 3 signs and airport staff instructions.
On Wednesday, November 4th, Buses from the airport to the hotels are currently being arranged to depart every two hours.
Two volunteers will accompany each bus and conduct participant registration and verification during the journey to the hotels.
Participants will be accommodated across six hotels. Regardless of your assigned hotel, board the bus indicated by the volunteers according to your arrival time. The bus will stop at each hotel in turn.
Travel from one hotel to the next usually takes approximately 5–7 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
If you arrive before November 4 and stay in São Paulo or near the airport, you may take the bus departing from Terminal 3 at 2:00 p.m. to travel to the church.
If you would like to use this bus, please notify the operations team in advance and provide your name and the number of people in your party.
The specific date of this bus service will be clearly stated in the final announcement.
If you arrive before November 4 and would like to stay near the airport, you may consider the following hotels.
Hotel Panamby Guarulhos
Sleep Inn Guarulhos
Bristol International Airport Hotel
Slaviero Guarulhos Aeroporto
Monreale Plus Guarulhos
These hotels offer airport shuttles, but operating hours, pickup locations, and whether the service is free or paid vary by hotel. Please confirm directly with your hotel before booking.
Here, “central” refers to central Guarulhos, not downtown São Paulo.
If you would like to travel to São José dos Campos before November 4 and stay at a GHS-designated hotel, you must notify the organizers in advance. Please confirm room availability and any additional charges for nights outside the official accommodation period.
There are two ways to travel independently from the airport:
You can travel directly from the airport to your hotel. The estimated fare is approximately US$60–70, depending on the vehicle type, traffic and other factors. Check the actual fare displayed in the app before booking.
At the Terminal 2 airport bus terminal, you can take a Litorânea / Pássaro Marron bus to São José dos Campos.
The estimated fare is approximately US$10. Please confirm the actual fare and departure time before booking or boarding.
Upon arrival at the São José dos Campos intercity bus terminal, take an Uber to your assigned hotel. Save your hotel’s name and address in advance.
If your flight changes or is delayed, you cannot find a volunteer, or you need assistance with your transfer, please contact the Brazil operations team via WhatsApp.
