1. Jeju Visa-Free Entry Policy
• Jeju Island is designated as a special tourism zone, allowing many travelers to enter visa-free for up to 30 days, provided they arrive directly by international flight or ship.
• Important: This visa-free policy does not apply if you transit through another Korean airport (Incheon, Gimpo, etc.) before reaching Jeju.
⸻
2. K-ETA / Korea Electronic Travel Authorization
• Many travelers must secure a K-ETA before boarding their flight to Korea.
• K-ETA applies to nationals from visa-waiver or visa-free countries who do not need a traditional visa.
• From April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025, 22 countries are temporarily exempt from the K-ETA requirement as part of a tourism-boost initiative.
• Always verify your status before traveling.
