Overall, the lesson planning process was not really difficult for me because my mentor teacher was very communicative and guided me throughout the entire teaching process. The lesson plan procedure at Ateneo de Naga University comes with a structured template and clear guidelines, not only for the intended subject matter but also for the specific skills that students are expected to accomplish throughout the learning process. The school also follows the K–12 curriculum, which emphasizes competency-based learning and the development of students’ critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills. In addition, the lesson plans reflect religious values since Ateneo de Naga Senior High School is a Catholic institution. The integration of 21st Century Skills is also evident throughout the learning activities and assessments.
