Induction

If you are offered a place and choose to join us, we recommend bringing the following:

✅ Photo ID – Passport or driving licence. 

• If you do not have one of these documents, then we will accept a Voter Authority Certificate. If you do not already have this, you can request it for free from the government website: Apply for photo ID to vote (called a ‘Voter Authority Certificate’) 

✅ Notebook & Pens – Handy for jotting down important information.

✅ Laptop or Tablet (if available) – Not essential but useful for digital activities. 

✅ Questions for Staff or Current Students – This is your chance to ask anything about student life! 

Induction is more than just admin — it’s your first step into university life. 

During induction, you’ll:

• Meet your tutors, support staff, and fellow students

• Explore campus and get set up on university systems

• Ask questions about finance and study skills

• Start building your Foundation Year community
