Key Dates

Semester one:

Timetabled teaching sessions begin on 22 September 2025 and end on 19 December 2025.

Reading week takes place in week starting 27 October 2025. Assessment deadlines may fall in early January 2026.

Semester two:

Timetabled teaching sessions begin on 19 January 2026 and end on 1 May 2026.

Reading week takes place in week starting 23 February 2026. Assessment deadlines may fall in early May 2026.

Second year of the degree:

On passing the foundation year, students move into the next year of the degree, which will begin in September 2026.

Long Semester:

Timetabled teaching sessions begin on 19 January 2026 and end on 1 May 2026.

Reading week takes place in week starting 23 February 2026. Assessment deadlines may fall in  early May 2026.

Summer term:

Timetabled teaching sessions begin on 4 May 2026 and end on 26 June 2026.

Reading week takes place in week starting 25 May 2026. Assessment deadlines may fall in early July 2026.

Next year of the degree:

On passing the foundation year, students move into the next year of the degree, which will begin in September 2026.
