Film Synopsis

Technically for Chris Washington, everything could go wrong. 5 months in a relationship for Chris and his girlfriend, Rose Armitage, meant that they’re finally ready to take a step forward; that is the meeting-the-parents phase. Rose invites Chris to spend the weekend with the Armitages in their Lake Pontaco house. After finding out that Rose’s parents have no clue that he is black, Chris becomes hesitant as he feels that interracial relationships often do not stand well with most parents. However, he instead unexpectedly gets warmly welcomed by them to the point that it becomes uncomfortable. As time goes by, Chris begins to doubt whether their overly accommodating behaviour could be hiding something he has yet managed to discover.
