Augment Bionics is a medical technology start-up founded by University of Edinburgh students to create technologically advanced, affordable myoelectric prosthetics. During the COVID-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) shortage, the company also pivoted to produce and donate medical visors worldwide. As co-founder and CTO, I led engineering, R&D, and product development across prosthetics and PPE, while managing a multidisciplinary team and acting as the bridge between technical and commercial functions.
3D printed, bionic prosthetics with the aim of providing affordable alternatives to people with physical disabilities.
My personal creation that we took from concept to production in an attempt to commercialise our visor project.
Open-source design which we manufactured and donated to healthcare workers across the world.
