Who is St Ignatius and is he still relevant?

Saturday 3 October 2020

Ignatius (Inigo Lopez de Loyola) was born in the Basque country of Spain in 1491. A nobleman and knight, his life changed forever in 1521 when he was injured in battle in Pamplona. 500 years later the Spiritual Exercises, which were the fruit of his own conversion, continue to be a life changing journey for those seeking growth in love and in service of Christ.

This Saturday reflection will look briefly at his life and then at how some of his key experiences can touch and inform our own life experiences. There will be input, time for personal prayer and a chance to share with others.
