Part-time English Teacher
Part-time English Teacher
Since September 2024, I have been working as a part-time English teacher, focusing on extra-curricular activities such as poetry, debate, public speaking, and interview preparation. Teaching students from various countries—via Zoom lessons, study tours, and global competitions—has exposed me to the richness of cultural diversity in education. This global perspective has been both humbling and inspiring, as it has broadened my understanding of different educational needs and practices.
The flexibility and positive working environment in this role have allowed me to explore creative teaching methods without the constraints of a rigid curriculum. For example, designing customized lesson plans for debate or public speaking competitions has helped me fine-tune my skills in engaging students through language arts. Additionally, working with international students has sharpened my ability to adapt to different cultural contexts, enhancing my professional versatility.

Most importantly, this role has affirmed my passion for teaching in non-traditional settings. The supportive environment and value placed on my strengths have shown me the importance of workplace culture in sustaining professional fulfillment. These experiences have cemented my belief that teaching language arts is not just a job but a meaningful way to connect with and inspire others.
