Level 1 side-by-side of blockout vs. final
This game will have 3 levels; level 1 is being completed now. This design used FAB Asseets and the Actor Palette plugin. Blockout was used as guidance throughout the level after playtesting to create this vibrant world. I used packed level actors to manage all assets neatly, and made the landscape with my blueprint knowledge. The folliage Mode provided better control over the appearance of vegetation. I created natural-looking assets with simulated gravity in unreal engine.
