Tuesday 8/27/2024, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Join us in Plains, Georgia, home of former President Jimmy Carter, for the conference's Welcome Event! Plains is a short drive from downtown Americus, and holds a rich history. We will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, fellowship, and guided tours of Rosalynn Carter's Butterfly Trail, the Historic Plains Inn, and the Antique Store. A Plains local, Tim Buchanan, will lead these tours. Mr. Buchanan works with the Friends of Jimmy Carter National Historic Park Foundation, the group that owns and operates both facilities. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Sumter County!
