Our Anti-Ragging Policy

Prohibition: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of Shri Raghvendra Singh Hazari Government College, Hatta, Damoh, as well as in its affiliated institutions, hostels, and transport facilities.

Legal Consequences: Ragging is a criminal offense as per the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Those found guilty of ragging will face severe legal consequences, including imprisonment.

Strict Action: The college administration is committed to taking prompt and stringent action against any individual or group found guilty of engaging in ragging activities. Disciplinary actions may include suspension, expulsion, or other punitive measures as deemed necessary.

Reporting Mechanism: We encourage all students to report any instance of ragging immediately to the designated authorities. We have established an Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to address complaints and concerns related to ragging.

Confidentiality: We assure complete confidentiality to those who report ragging incidents. The identity of the complainant will not be disclosed, and appropriate measures will be taken to protect them from any harm or retaliation.

Awareness Programs: The college conducts regular awareness programs, seminars, and workshops to educate students about the harmful consequences of ragging and the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive campus environment.

Responsibilities: Every member of the college community, including students, faculty, staff, and administration, has a responsibility to prevent ragging and to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and harmony.

Parents' Role: We request parents and guardians to counsel their wards on the importance of not engaging in ragging and to encourage them to report any incidents they may witness or experience.

Support System: The college provides support and counseling services for victims of ragging. We are committed to helping victims cope with any physical or psychological trauma they may endure.
