Welcome to the 2025–2026 Swim Buddies Season!

This year, we’re trialing a new online registration system to reduce paper admin and make roster coordination easier for everyone. It’s simple and secure — you’ll find everything (including payment details and Conditions of Use) in one place.

Priority keys will go to last season’s keyholders who register now and can help with opening/closing the pool. Our roster for the first half of the season is mostly covered (just a couple backups needed), and we’re now recruiting for second-half volunteers (4 Jan – 2 Apr).

If you’d like to become a keyholder this summer, please complete the online registration form below.
This form collects your contact details, confirms you’ve read and agreed to the Keyholder Agreement, and helps us organise the volunteer roster.

Keyholder Details

• Season Dates:  Monday 20 October to 2 April 2026

• Maintenance closure:  19 January–12 February 2026 (for pool repainting)

• Fees:  $150 individual / $170 family (reduced due to maintenance closure)

• Key type:  One key for the full season

• Payment:  Direct credit preferred to Golden Bay High School, Acct No. 03-1354-0370134-00. Include POOL and SURNAME as reference.

You must register online before making payment so we can confirm your key allocation.

Proof of payment will be required upon key collection.

After you register you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps and key collection times.

Keys will be issued only after payment. For family keys, both adults must agree to and sign the Conditions of Use document. Note that keys are limited and issued at the start of the season only.

Safety

Ensure your read the Keyholder Agreement document, also linked in the Google Form, and available at the library keyholder meetings. Biggest rule: never swim alone.
