Past Events

In Spring 2024, the Greener by Default Coalition at NYU hosted our Campus Leadership Forum—an event dedicated to fostering sustainable and inclusive eating habits at NYU. Representatives were present from 20+ campus organizations, including the Office of Sustainability, Stern Center for Sustainable Business, Office of University Events, Student Government Assembly, and numerous student organizations and departments. We introduced the powerful impact of institutions purchasing plant-based foods by default and discussed how campus organizations can introduce these strategies into their practices.
