About Stop Motion:
Stop motion is a cinematographic technique whereby the camera is repeatedly stopped and started, for example to give animated figures the impression of movement. In this case, it was exactly 200 frames strung together (each playing for about a tenth of a second). It's a trick where your brain fills in all the missing gaps in motion.
My process:
I started by designing the donuts (it's just a ring, an abstract shape fitting it's confines and rounded rectangles for sprinkles). I then played around with the colors so that they would compliment each other. After that, I created a base frame for every scene and then duplicated it several times with minor changes in every frame. Finally, I downloaded some royalty free music from YouTube and put it on in the background.
