Become a Garden Gate Classroom Room Representative!

Each year, every classroom has a Room Representative who helps build strong communication between the teacher, the PTA, and classroom families. This parent volunteer plays an important role in creating a fun, connected, and supportive classroom community.

Room Representative Responsibilities:

• Follow the PTA guidelines for Room Representatives.

• Serve as the primary classroom contact for PTA and school events.

• Collect the one-time class fund at the beginning of the school year and manage classroom expenses.

• Coordinate classroom celebrations with the teacher (typically four parties throughout the school year).

• Support and promote PTA programs, events, and initiatives within your classroom and the Garden Gate community.
