Check out PTA events planned for the school year!
Our direct donation drive is now open! Donate now! All your funds go toward enriching our children’s experience at school and the more we collectively contribute, the more enhancements we will be able to provide!
Public funding covers the basics. The Garden Gate PTA funds the programs, resources, and experiences that make our school extraordinary — more than 20 programs and events every school year, paid for by our community, for our community. Here's where your support goes.
At Garden Gate, the PTA:
Raises money for things the school district does not pay for — like art, music, PE, the library, and teacher grants (for supplies and materials)
Plans events that bring families together, like festivals, movie nights, and International Night
Gives every family a way to be heard in our school community
You can take part in whatever way works for you. Come to an event, share an idea, volunteer for an hour, or simply stay informed!
Member, donor, volunteer: What's the difference?
Becoming a member costs a small yearly fee and lets you vote on PTA decisions. Everyone is welcome to join.
Donating is separate and always optional.
Volunteering is free and can be as little as one hour.
You are welcome to do one, all, or none of these. Just being part of our community matters.
We manage over 20 educational programs and events in a typical school year. Learn more.
We bring families together all year long:
Festivals & seasonal celebrations, including our Fall Festival
Book fairs that inspire reading and support our library and teachers
Family Movie Nights, Science Night, Literacy Night, and International Night
Supporting our school House program — Amistad, Isibindi, Altruismo, and Rêveur
Your membership, donation, and volunteer support is important in funding various activities and maintaining the programs that PTA sponsors for Garden Gate students!
