Game Programmer for macOS/ Linux/ Mobile

Feral Interactive is looking for developers with a technical bias that is low-level and a few experiences in the games industry to join our development team. This is an excellent chance to proceed into the next stage of your development career. You'll be working with AAA games that are great and allow us to bring them to the macOS or mobile platforms, Linux.

Expertise programming, for example, use of Xcode, for Linux and macOS, is strongly desired but not mandatory for the ideal candidate. This is a challenging role only acceptable for those that are competent in C/C++ and happy working with lower-level data structures and algorithms that are complex.

Bug and problem-solving resolution will also be vital skills. To help us know yours ' are, please add a link to a portfolio or GitHub in your application. We're always pleased to look at code samples.

We are looking but may also work well in a group. You'll have our QA team that is onsite, and the help of our other developers.

Required Skills and Expertise

Powerful C/C++ abilities

2-3 years of experience in games development, especially in programming

Desired Skills and Expertise

Experience programming to Linux or systems that are mobile, the macOS

Knowledge of one or more of Vulkan Metal, OpenGL and DirectX for 3D images

Familiarity with Xcode

Expertise with Objective-C

Demonstrable development expertise for a hobby outside performs a passion for video game testers.
