Contract QA Tester at Certain Affinity Inc.

Contract QA Testers are responsible for promoting and supporting our efforts to create high quality, user-friendly products. This role is accountable for identifying qualitative issues and game defects during the development cycle of the title, ensuring a high quality, bug-free expertise for the consumer upon release.

Responsibilities

• Test games and Search for product defects
• Document findings from bug tracking software
• Track and maintain bug database to ensure up-to-date data has entered
• Compose qualitative reports to ensure the job is balanced and fun
• Verify growth bug fixes through sport play regression
• Assist in the creation and execution of test cases
• Help with therapeutic development tasks

Requirements

• Six months of quality assurance expertise
• Expertise with current-gen programs
• Able to maintain a high level of attention when performing repetitive jobs
• Professional knowledge of MS Windows and Office applications
• Knowledge of computer hardware
• Outstanding verbal and written skills
• Amazing attention to detail
• Willing to identify potential issues and provide subjective solutions
• Able to work within a group
• Ready to interact with key internal and external members of publishing and advancement
• Able to work flexible hours and meet tight deadlines when called upon
• Extra Credit
• Avid gamer (FPS or MMO)
• Knowledge of Premiere C++ Powershell
• Understanding of database tracker programs or game development tools
