高山や乾燥地、極域などといった厳しい環境に対し、動けない植物がどのような戦略で生き抜いているかに関心があります。これまでの主な研究対象地はハワイ島とアラスカ。
I'm interested in the strategies of plants inhabiting harsh environmental conditions, such as dryland, alpine areas, and circumpolar regions. My study sites have mainly been on Hawaii Island and Alaska.
