The Gainesville Area Festival is a non-competitive event for students (18 years and under) and adults to perform and receive an evaluation from judges. Students will receive rating sheets and certificates, and participate in the Festival Cup Program. Gainesville Area Festival is sponsored by the Foundation for the Promotion of Music, a member of Florida Federation of Music Clubs and National Federation of Music Clubs.

Registration Deadline on Vivace: December 1, 2026 at 11:59pm
Registration Fees and Federation Cup Fees Deadline: December 10, 2026 (postmarked)
Registration Fee (non-refundable): $17 per solo entry or $17 per each member of an ensemble, $50 for a group of 5 or more
Federation Cup Fee is included in the registration fee on Vivace
An invoice will be emailed to each teacher from Vivace. If you are registering students in both piano and strings, you will receive two invoices.
