Important Deadlines
Important deadlines for Gainesville Area Festival:
October 1 – deadline for Senior club dues ($40 membership dues to FPM)
October 1 – deadline for Junior club dues without $25 late fee
October 2 through November 15 - Junior club dues accepted with $25 late fee
December 1 - Monitor signup – In order for Gainesville Area Festival to run smoothly, we need monitors to fill 44 slots on February 17 and 18.
Teachers with 10 or more students will provide 3 full four-hour shifts with at least one shift done by the teacher.
Teachers with fewer than 10 students will provide 2 full four-hour shifts with at least one shift done by the teacher.
A responsible adult over 18 years old may substitute for one or two of the shifts.
Any teacher who cannot fulfill the monitoring responsibilities will not be allowed to participate in Gainesville Area Festival the following year.
Please complete the monitor form by December 1. All teachers and other monitors will be required to sign the FFMC Child Protection form and email to Wanda Louie, wlpiano23@gmail.com by January 15.

December 11 - Deadline for Festival fees payment
Festival registration fees including Federation Cup fees (non-refundable, $15 per each solo entry, $15 for each member of duet, trio or quartet, $50 for group of 5 or more) are due December 11 (postmark). No opt-out option for the Federation Cup plan.
Write one check payable to Suwannee District, FFMC. Mail invoice and check by December 11 (postmarked) to Wanda Louie, 5602 NW 48th Place, Gainesville, FL 32606
January 15 - All teachers, judges, and volunteer workers will email signed FFMC Child Protection Form to Wanda Louie, wlpiano23@gmail.com
January 26-28 - Strings Festival, Celebration United Methodist Church
February 17-18 – Piano, Voice, Theory, Woodwinds Festival, UF Music Building
Students bring Student Information Sheet and published scores of the required and choice pieces to Festival. NO photocopied music will be allowed. Please number the bars at the beginning of each line.
March 10 - Deadline for registration for FFMC State Junior Convention
