NASA Announces the Date that the public will be able to view the first James Webb Space Telescope
I think that it is alright to assume that everyone even remotely interested into the space world will be excited for the news that NASA just released. Ever since the launch the whole space community have been ecstatic about this launch, ready to revolutionize history forever, with even better than Hubble's insturement by many times and space instruments stronger than most of us can comprehend, we are all equally excited.
NASA says the first full-color images from it's James Webb Space Telescope will be released on July 12. The James Webb Space Telescope being decades of development, this moment has been anticipated for a long time now. JWST is the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope and was in development dating back to around the time Hubble launched in 1990. The observatory working on The James Webb Space Telescope has spent all of 2022 so far going through a planned six-month period of calibration and alignment in preparation for its main tasks. The images that it took during it's testing phase have been released and are even better than anticipated, with vivid color and imaging, this is one of the most powerful space telescopes of this age. As JWST turns away from testing and preparing to actually performing science, it will start working through a prepared list of diferent exoplanets, that include a different variation of super-earths and jupiter-sized exoplanets. In addition to looking at distant planets, NASA says its first group of images from JWST will also touch on the other areas that it will investigate, including the history of the early universe, the evolution of galaxies and the lifecycle of stars. There is a lot to look forward to in the upcoming years/months now with the JWST being up in space.
