A “Vidhwath” in Carnatic music, under the guidance of “Smt Mysore Nagamani Srinath”, she is the principal of the academy and has been running this institution since from year 1987. She has worked with almost all the leading Sandalwood Music Directors (for more than 20yrs, since 1987) that include Hamsalekha, V.Harikrishna, Gurukiran, Rajan-Nagendra, Rajesh Ramnath, Manohar, SadhuKokila and the list goes on. She also has worked with the music maestro "Illaiyaraja" himself. She has also had the privilege to perform live with “Dr.S.P.Balasubramanium” in his own programmes. Also she and Mrs.Shylaja Krishna have sung various devotional albums ,named “Mysore Sisters”.

A Senior in music, disciple and daughter of Smt. Sujatha Prasad. She inherited the essence of Carnatic Classical music and Light Music from her mother Smt.Sujatha Prasad. She too works for the Kannada film industry (Playback Singer) since 2005 and has had an experience with all the music biggies (V.Harikrishna, Arjun Janya, A R Rehman, Illaiyaraja, Gurukiran, Hamsalekha, Dr.S.P.Balasubramanium, Sridhar, Manohar, Sadhu Kokila …). Apart from being a well known Recording Artist at Sandalwood Industry, Lakshmi Vijay has performed at numerous National & International Musical Concerts. She has done Voice Over's for various commercials since the age of seven and has tried her hand in RJing.
