Established in 1987 by Sujatha Prasad, a celebrated playback singer from Sandalwood, Gagana Music Academy was founded on the belief that classical music education should be accessible to everyone. We are deeply committed to this mission, serving a diverse student population through our Extension and Preparatory Divisions, encompassing children and adults, from absolute beginners to accomplished young virtuosos and working professionals.

Gagana Music Academy is officially registered under the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). This accreditation authorizes us to prepare and permit our students to take the KSEEB Special Music and Tala Vadya Exams, providing a recognized pathway for their musical development and achievement.
