Shakespeare

The following assignment was for English 442:Shakespeare. The guidelines for this assignment was to collect five passages that were not discussed in class and analyze the form. Each passage contains an analysis of aspects of form. To meet the standards below I collected work from a Shakespeare anthology and analyzed the form that helps enhance the meaning to the audience through rhetoric, language, and textual evidence. By focusing on certain passages, I was able to really understand the use of word choice and connect them to historical contexts. I also think that focusing more on one single passage versus an act or the entire play really helped me find meaning in the text and develop a skill to help understand the language used in Shakespeare's plays.
